People of all ages attended the launch party for the first four books in my Carlos and Carmen series: The One-Tire House, The Nighttime Noise, The Green Surprise, and The Big Rain.  After I read The One-Tire House to the crowd, people enjoyed the refreshments, purchased books, and picked up free bookmarks, buttons, and activity sheets.
