No Birds for Bongo!

 

Summary:  Bongo would really like to catch a bird! And there are blue birds, red birds, and yellow birds just outside the window. A quick dash through the cat door takes Bongo outside where he tries his best to catch a bird. Fortunately for the birds, Bongo's friend has a different plan. The use of repetition, counting, and colors make this book perfect the text is is perfect for the very youngest readers.

Summary:  Lola loves digging for treasure, wearing feather boas, and riding bucking bronco brooms.  Her cat Moon prefers keeping his paws clean, napping in sunny spots, and maintaining his feline dignity, which is rather difficult when Lola's around.  Young children and their parents will laugh at Lola's enthusiasm, they'll see through Moon's gruff attitude, and they'll love the happy ending of this picture book.
